It doesn't grow that fast or tall.

Grasses give us a place to play in our own back yard and a feeling of open space. Unlike other grasses - NoMowGrass for northern areas is guaranteed to be the softest coolest grass you ever put your bare feet (or anything else) on.

Keeping lawns short reduces places rodents, snakes and insects can hide. While lush grass reduces oppurtunities for weeds to take hold.    

  NoMowGrass (Agrostis) costs about the same as other types of grasses since the seed is so small - a little goes a long way. One pound will cover up to 1,250 sq ft. Other grass seed may need up to 5 pounds to cover the same area. NoMowGrass for hot dry areas provides year round color and reduced watering.
 

You now have a choice - to mow or not to mow? NoMowGrass can be left un-mowed for years and creates a soft natural grass area. Or it can be mowed occasionally for a manicured appearance. Many areas will only require mowing around edges reducing mowing time by 90%. Typically homeowners mow once every few weeks to months by setting the mower to it's highest setting.
